Dr. Justin Edwards is dedicated to the exclusive treatment of children from infancy through the teen years. Pediatric dentists have the experience and qualifications to care for your child’s teeth, gums and mouth throughout all stages of childhood. Dr. Edwards is committed to providing excellent dental care and an exceptional dental experience for all children and teens.
As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Edwards appreciates the early visits with his patient’s family or caretaker, as these appointments are dedicated to educating families about how to have a lifetime of exceptional oral health. He is devoted to making sure patients feel as comfortable as possible during each visit while educating them about preventative dentistry measures that will help to avoid invasive procedures.

EDUCATION
Dr. Justin Edwards earned his Bachelor of Science in cell biology and neuroscience from Montana State University. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Realizing his passion for working with children, Dr. Edwards was accepted to a two-year pediatric dental residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. There, Dr. Edwards received specialized training and the additional education necessary to exclusively treat children and those with special needs.
In 2012, Dr. Edwards became a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He also holds a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Outside of the office, Dr. Edwards spends as much time as he can with his wonderful wife and two rescue pups Eddie and Ellie. You can typically find them playing in the rivers, oceans and mountains. He and his wife also have an affinity for travel. Their favorite places include Heathsville, VA; Bozeman, MT; Yellowstone; Norway/Sweden and Germany.
